The softest layer, right under the fabric. It gives the moment you sit down: that slow, sink-in feeling.
A thin, slightly firmer layer between soft and firm, so you never feel an edge underneath.
The densest foam, placed right behind your lower back. It holds you when you read or work, and keeps the backrest from folding over time.
High-resilience foam that gives the Fireside its shape and springs back after every sit. It is the frame, so there is nothing hard inside.

Is there a frame inside?
No. There is no wood, no metal and no springs: the Fireside is built only from four foams of different densities. Nothing hard inside, nothing to creak.
Does it arrive ready to use?
Yes. It arrives in one piece, with nothing to assemble and no tools needed.
Can I order a custom color?
Yes, we offer over 200 colors and materials. Browse them on our Custom Your Seat page and add your color reference when you order. Custom orders need an additional 7 to 10 days of production.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order ships, you receive a tracking number by email, and you can follow it anytime from our website.
What does the 5-year warranty cover?
Your Fireside is covered for 5 years against structural and material defects.
Can I remove the cover for cleaning?
The cover is not removable. For deeper cleaning, we recommend a professional upholstery cleaner to keep the fabric and shape at their best.

No. The Fireside is our own take on the 1970s icon, inspired by the work of Michel Ducaroy. It is not made by or affiliated with the original manufacturer.
